My husband is a DIE HARD Superman fanboy. He has so many Superman t-shirts [and lounge pants, and underwear, and socks, and ties, and bbq aprons... like everything ever] that it is rare for me to find a t-shirt that genuinely excites him. With this classic symbol tee though, I thought he was going to literally crap himself when he opened it. He has owned the shirt for about 2 weeks now, it's been washed at least 5 times already because he keeps wearing the damn thing. I should have bought 2
Shirt was very cool. Washed and wore well.
Based on the Superman that appeared in the Fleischer cartoons in the early 1940's. This shirt also has a bit of an influence I think, on Alex Ross and his iconic rendering of Superman in his classic series Kingdom Come. Back to the shirt. The screen printing is fine and holds up and will satisfy most Superman fans. Highly recommended!
