In the hit 1996 miniseries, Kingdom Come, Superman was burned out, and understandably so -- Lois was murdered, and her murderer, the Joker, was killed by a self-proclaimed hero who...also murdered.
He had enough -- enough of the killing, enough of the brutality, and enough of the killing and brutality enacted by the next generation of super-people.
Thankfully, because he's Superman, he came out of retirement. Unfortunately, he was slightly jaded and very disappointed -- characteristics conveyed in his "new" costume, a costume accurately conveyed by our Superman Kingdom Come 39Thirty Fitted Hat.

For any fan of the old testament style superman this is a great way to show your love. The quality is top notch and the fit was spot on.

The cap is well built, good stitching, and the superman logo is well made. I did not see that the fabric was not in cotton like a 59fifty cap, but in polyester. As such, it will not shrink nicely on your head the more you wear it. The sizing will not change much if you wet it or heat it up like a cotton cap. Anyway, what I was really disappointed about is the fit. The crown is very high. I am a low to medium profile crown guy, and I did not notice this one was so high. So the cap tends to fall on my ear, making it uncomfortable to wear, and there is a big space between my head and the top of the cap. Many people love to wear it this way, to each its own, but I am not crazy about it. Also, I have close to a 25" head, but I have the feeling the L/XL which was recommended is actually too big. As I removed the stickers and wore it for a few days, I could not return it anymore.

As someone with a 7 5/8 size head, I was skeptical to see if the large size of this hat would fit comfortably. Plot Twist: It does. Though it didn't give me superhuman stamina or strength, it does make fellow neckbeards and geeks swoon. Thanks Superherostuff!

If you are a super fan of the book "Kingdom Come" by Alex Ross than you will love this hat. Personally I like 39thirty style better than the 59fifty which has more of a flat brim style. This one fits my head better. Anyways, great hat.

I bought this particular Superman hat because I wanted a great design and something a little more subtle than the usual symbol. I am very happy with this, and especially with the quality of it. The needlework around the red ‘S’ is terrific, and the 39Thirty guarantees that it is always comfortable.
