The Red Hood, formerly Robin II, aka Jason Todd, aka 'the Robin who died via telephone hotline,' is seriously miffed and understandably so.

You see, the Joker killed him, and Batman didn't, in turn, kill the Joker. When you're resurrected by a reality-punching Superboy and dropped into a Lazarous Pit, you tend to anger quickly.

So, Jason took on the moniker of Red Hood -- one of Batman's very first foes (who may have been the Joker, depending on which continuity you follow) -- and sought to punish Batman for his soft-handed crime-fighting.
