Child endangerment, or thoughtful parenting?

Some parents teach their children to make beds, maintain room cleanliness, utilize silverware, and respect the space (and beloved security blankets) of younger, whinier siblings.

But Frank Castle doesn’t fall neatly under the homogenous “some parents” category. No, sir.

In fact, Frank Castle teaches his children life lessons that “some parents” might consider a little more extreme -- life lessons compiled in Frank's best-selling novel, "The Punisher's Guide to Raising Children."

Case in point:

Some parents prefer their children seek out the help of adults (teachers, police officers, etc.) if they witness or suspect any foul play.

Frank Castle, ever the empowering father, gave his children a bat and said, “You see something bad – and you want it to stop -- you stop it.”

On the first day, the Castle siblings came home with the severed finger of a school bully. On the second day, they came home with the head of a local drug dealer.

To celebrate his kids’ accomplishments, Frank took them to the park. They had a wonderful, wonderful time…until they didn’t.
