My dad told me once that we came from an alien civilization that was peaceful and explored the galaxy uplifting varying planets. He also told me that I would develop super powers and that I should use them to protect the planet. Later I found out that we were really barbarian-warriors from another planet hell bent on adding more people to the empire....and that my father was leading the expeditionary force! Yowzah.
