The Green Lantern Corps is the galaxy's intergalactic police force, harnessing the very power of true willpower. Who needs riot shields, bulletproof vests, and firearms when you can just use a ring to will all of those things into existence? To hell with utility belts and bringing a bunch of weapons...just give me a ring that lets my imagination become the weapon! My hands shake at the very prospect...that's true power right there! I suppose we are lucky that there isn't a whole bunch of corrupt Green Lanterns, they often get moved over to another Corps that fits their personality a bit better. At least we all have Hal Jordan to look up to, that guy is Green Lantern prime!
