Captain America is relatively indestructible thanks to some experimental biological supplements. Basically, he can take a missile to the face while rendering evil maniacs unconscious with vice-like sleeper holds.

Because Steve Rogers often receives a missile to the face, he's burning though his prized hat collection at an alarming rate.

Thankfully, the folks at New Era teamed up with the remnants of a recently decommissioned PROJECT: REBIRTH to create the equally (and relatively) indestructible Captain America Shield Blue 59Fifty Cap.

Made from 100% polyester, this red and blue hat from New Era -- artificially augmented to withstand direct hits from 1.5 ballistic missiles  --  features a raised, embroidered Captain America shield symbol.

Our Captain America hat is layered in a resilient performance fabric called "Diamond Era." 

The name comes from a recurring pattern of diamond-shaped stitching crisscrossing the entire hat, granting it the appearance of a hard-fiber mesh used in the construction of contemporary superhero-wear.
