Bruce Wayne respects wood. I know it seems funny for a guy who has to clean blood off his suit every night to have a freak out over water rings on a table. I mean, you’d think with his vast wealth he wouldn’t really care anyway. But he respects wood.

So that’s why if you ever go over to Wayne Manor, make sure you use one of his Batman metal coasters and avoid the hellfire that will reign down on you if Bruce finds a coffee ring on his chestnut end table.
