Petulant dog-thing!  Ahem. This particular Dr Doom is rendered by designer Simone Legno as part of the popular, playful, Tokidoki character aesthetic.  Tokidoki means "sometimes" in Japanese.  Simone chose this particular word since:  A) He loves Japan and B) The word sort of implies (to Simone, anyway) that things happen unexpectedly to perhaps....free one from the tyranny of Dr Doom?  Maybe.
